“You need international medical insurance”

International PMI
Living or working abroad for more than a year?
International PMI is usually for a minimum term of 12 months. Treatment abroad is easily accessible but the cost is usually prohibitive without insurance. It is very easy to forget that in the UK we have the NHS to fall back on but elsewhere in the world, there is no such thing.

Whatever treatment you need you are going to have to pay for it; and most likely it won't be carried out until the provider has obtained some method of payment.

Being ill or injured, in a country where you may not speak the language and having to fund doctors' visits, prescriptions, hospital consultations and/or expensive operations is every expatriate's nightmare.
Are you sending employees on secondment abroad?

Are you living and/or working outside of the UK for more than 12 months?

Your trip is not a holiday, nor is it a permanent move to another country?

Your company has employees dotted all around the globe, some in isolated areas.

Are you/have you retired abroad?
